رزا: از دیروز اغلب معترضین به سیستم با اعتراضی هماهنگ تصمیم به اشغال و کارشکنی در بنادر ساحل غرب امریکا تا کانادا را داشتند. در اعلام همبستگی با معترضین شهرهای بندری غرب امریکا، جنبش اشغال وال استریت نیویورک اشغال ساختمان مرکزی  بانک گلد من ساکسGoldman Sachs  را بعنوان هدف مقطعی اعلام کرد و دیروز و امروز اشغال این مراکز در دستور کار جنبش است.

یورونیوز : روز دوشنبه فعالان اشغال وال استریت تلاش کردند تا چندین بندر آمریکا در سواحل غربی این کشور را اشغال کنند. گرچه آنها تنوانستند اختلال جدی در فعالیتهای تجاری بندری بوجود آورند ولی موفق به بستن دو ترمینال در پرتلند شده و رفت و آمد کشتی ها در ترمینالی در سیاتل را مختل کردند.
 یکی از معترضین می گوید :“بانک گلد من ساکس، مالک کمپانی “اس اس ای” است، این ترمینال در دست آنهاست. آنها اساسا تمام مالیاتی را که ما پرداخت می کنیم اینجا در اختیار خود دارند. آنها تمام پولهای ما را در دست گرفته اند بدون آنکه چیزی در مقابل آن به ما بدهند.”....

Dec. 12 (Bloomberg) -- Occupy Wall Street protesters rally at the port of Long Beach, California, trying to halt shipping operations and cut into profits at Goldman Sachs Group Inc., which owns a stake in the cargo terminal operator. Demonstrators are trying to disrupt the largest U.S. and Canada container ports they say to highlight the plight of Americans who suffered from home foreclosures and soaring unemployment rates as the largest U.S. banks have recovered after the 2008 financial crisis. Occupy protests cause fresh disruption on US West Coast
“Goldman Sachs, they own the terminal here and they are the ones that basically took all our tax money, they got all our bailout money and we haven’t got anything from that,” said protester Andre Uribe.

OAKLAND, Calif. — Heady with their successful attempts to block trucks and curb business at busy ports up and down the West Coast, some Occupy Wall Street protesters plan to continue their blockades and keep staging similar protests.
Thousands of demonstrators forced shipping terminals in Oakland, Calif., Portland, Ore., and Longview, Wash., to halt parts of their operations Monday and some intend to keep their blockade attempts ramped up overnight.
